Small Groups

Fellowship, Bible Study and Small Groups

A vital part of our church life revolves around smaller groups meeting together.  These provide an opportunity to people to support one another, and discuss issues of importance to them.  Some groups are quite cerebral, and study Christian theory in a detailed and analytical manner, teasing out the finer points of truth around our faith.  Others are more relational, providing an opportunity for people to talk about their lives, and issues which are important to them at a point in time.

This discussion, personal reflection and study allows us to understand how best to apply God’s truth to our lives, making our lives better as well as freeing us to help those around us.

Times

Most of our studies have concluded for 2010, and we are yet to decide whether we will be following the same pattern in 2011.  However, our 2010 studies were as follows:

  • Ladies’ Fellowship Group: Alternate Monday evenings
  • Tuesday Bible Study: Every second and fourth Tuesday in the month
  • Julia Farr group: On alternate weeks, a group of people hold a fellowship group with a member of our church who is currently undergoing treatment at the Julia Farr centre.

If you are interested in joining one, please contact the office, or ask one of us on a Sunday morning.
